Matted Dog Disclaimer - Under The Animal Welfare Act a dog shouldn't come into any unnecessary pain or suffering. If a dog is severely matted it will need to be clipped short to ensure the animal is brought to no more pain or stress. If a dog is badly matted this causes discomfort as the matts pull tightly on the skin.

I can confirm I understand the procedure of a matted dog and I give my permission of my dog's coat to be clipped shortly if necessary. I also understand that the groomer is not responsible any underlying skin conditions that may be found once the coat is removed and veterinary advice should be taken.

Shave Down Waver - After a complete shave down a variety of skin and coat care problems may occur (Especially double coated breed / Fur bearing dog). This may include:

• Los of hair growth
• "Coat Funk" - The coat doesn't grow back the same texture and colour
• Bald Patches
• Hyper pigmentation of the skin
• unburn
• Loss of guard coat (Top layer of coat)
• Clipper burn
• Coat re-growth in different directions

I understand that any and all of the above issues can occur I authorise my groomer Robyn Young, to shave down my Dog if necessary. I don't hold my groomer Robyn Young responsible if any or all of the above issue occur.

I understand that i must use sunscreen on my dog two times a day for three weeks after a shave down to reduce the chance of sunburn.

Please not it is the salon's policy that a double coat will not be clipped unless there is a medical reason for this.

Terms & Conditions

• The dog must be healthy and it enough to stand for the duration of the groom.
• The dog must have all vaccinations up to date.
• If you suspect your dog is sick/ill in anyway DO NOT bring your dog to the salon, we can rearrange your groom for when they are feeling better.
• If I the groomer have any concerns about your dog's health whilst in my care, I will contact yourself and the vet immediately.
• As a groomer I will not be held liable or responsible for any under lying skin conditions or health problems that grooming may expose.
• I the groomer will not be held liable or responsible for any accident that may happen whilst grooming a dog with behavioural issue.
• I the groomer may ask you not to bring your dog back if it is extremely aggressive toward myself the groomer.
• My salon does not carry out any procedures which involve entering the dog's body such a ear plucking and emptying anal glands. Veterinary advice should be taken for this.
• Price may chance depending on the dog's coat condition or temperament. If the dog requires extra time to be groomed due to de-matting or behavioural issues the price will increase.
• If your dog is suspected of having fleas or ticks. please DO NOT bring your dog for their groom until you have treated this at home.
• If you have a complaint or are unhappy with your groom, please contact me directly, We can discuss the issues and resolve it.
• 24-hour to het in contact and get the dog back in with myself to fix what you may not be happy with.

Cancellation policy - All cancellations should be requested at least 5 days before your groom is booked. If you fail to cancel within this time frame however do call to let me know before your groom, you will be charged a half price fee before your next groom can take place. If you fail to cancel at all and don't show up you will be asked to pay for the full groom missed before your dog can be booked in again.
